M3P Operating Instructions:
- Inflate the Float to just 2 to 3 psi. When fully inflated the Float is not round.
- Before using, tie the float to the tube with fishing line through the hole in the cover to make so that it won’t be lost if it happens to get loose.
- Place buoy in an open Spot on the deck.
- Remove the magnet. Do not deploy the buoy without removing it.
- Check that the LED starts flashing.
- Check that the Buoy’s Window and Code appear on your computer’s screen
- Check at least one reception appears on your screen before deploying the Buoy. The first message may take up to 20 minutes to appear.
Make sure to SWITCH THE BUOY OFF (Replace the Magnet) when it not being used to avoid any battery damage due to deep-discharge.
