Historically, commercial fishermen have had to use large, dangerous, and bulky “one-arm bandits” for commercial fishing in extreme depths. Units that had to be bolted to the side of the boat and left out in the environment which caused unnecessary repairs and maintenance.

All Elec-Tra-Mate® Brute™ Commercial Models are designed to be the most versatile piece of equipment on your boat. Go from deep dropping with super braided line to a second spool loaded with wire line for trolling or a spool loaded with 400 or 600 lb. monofilament for Green Stick fishing or long line use in 60 seconds.

Every Brute™ can be used in standard heavy-duty rod holders already mounted in your boat’s gunwale. Additionally, the base plate is designed so that the Brute™ can be adjusted every 15 degrees of angle so that regardless of the angle of your rod holder, the Brute’s boom can be directed straight over the side of the boat at any angle desired. At the end of the day, the Brute™ lifts right off and the unit can be stowed safely away.

There is also a Pinch Puller Option which enables you to easily and quickly switch from a fishing setup to a super piece of equipment for pulling pots and/or traps.
