Elec-Tra-Mate Brute H13 & H15 Hydraulic Reels

New from Elec-Tra-Mate! Commercial fishermen who have their reels permanently mounted in their boats, now have the option of a high quality precision machined hydraulic reel with lots of advanced features that not only promise higher performance with far less downtime but also have the most versatile features of any commercial reel in the world.

Both of Elec-Tra-Mates H13 and H15 Hydraulic Brute Reels are precision machined out of 6061 T6 aluminum and then hard coat anodized for unbelievable corrosion-resistance and durability. This finish provides higher wear and abrasion resistance for the harsh saltwater environment where they live and work. The hard coat anodizing also increases the strength of the aluminum to a Rockwell 65 finish which is harder than chrome and tool steel. Additionally, each uses precision machined spools that revolve on stainless steel bearings (not on plastic bushings) for silky smooth operation and the reels come equipped with massive, state of the art, drag washers. All  are equipped with Elec-Tra-Mate’s new easy to use super-duty hydraulic control valve. Both units are available with a standard deck mount or a heavy duty gunwale mount and include a high capacity spool and quick detachable fiberglass boom with a 3″ block. Additional spools and booms are available.

The Brute 13 comes with a 10″ x 2″ aluminum spool that holds up to 1,880 feet of 600lb monofilament Line and the Brute 15 is equipped with a large 15″ x 6″ aluminum spool. The spools are interchangeable so that you can quickly go from a bottom fishing setup to hunting for big tuna with a Greenstick in just a couple of minutes.
