It takes just a minute or two to swap spools and go fishing.
Both the Waterman Manual and Belt Drive Reels have 5/8″ inch shafts and the Direct Drive and Hydraulic units come with 1″ shafts.
Both the standard 5/8″ and 1″ Plastic and Aluminum Spools are 13″ in diameter and 3″ wide and the new Greenstick Spool fits only the 1″ shaft and is 7.5″ wide and 15″ in diameter.
Standard Spool capacity is 3500′ of 3/64″ stainless steel cable or 130# mono (1.2mm), 2500′ of 300# (1.8mm) mono, 900′ of 550# (2.5mm) mono or 700′ of 700# (3.0) mono. Green Stick Spool holds 5800′ of 700# (3.0mm) mono.
The 36″ Spring Arm is a replacement arm for the Manual and Belt Drive units and the 34″ arm fits both the Hydraulic and Direct Drive reels.
Not a bad idea to have a spare drag knob on-board just in case yours falls overboard. The female knob fits either the 12 volt Belt Drive or the Manual reels and the male knob fits both the Hydraulic and Direct Drive reels.
