Ele-Tra-Mate’s latest edition to their product line is their Tuna Brute III equipped with an electronic control unit which has some exciting new features that can be used in any trolling application but has been engineered to eliminate the guess work when your searching for giant tuna with a Greenstick.
The Tuna Brute’s controller can be programmed to consistently drop back your bird or lures to a distance behind your vessel stopping up to 6 times to put out your dropper baits and repeat this operation when you are reeling in your line.
Electronic Control Features:
- LCD Line Counter – Enter your line diameter in mm for extremely accurate display of line in feet, meters or fathoms.
- Automtic Shutoff at assigned HOME and FISH positions.
- Ability to set up to 6 additional Memory Positions – Unit automatically stops at each position dropping back or reeling in.
- Variable Speed Control to adjust speed depending on sea conditions.
- Alarm to notify when a fish hits or anything pulls on the line.
- Light Sensor automatically turns on backlight when it gets dark.
- Stores all Settings in memory for your next fishing trip.

- Aluminum Dredge / Downrigger Booms are available in 24” and 36” lengths with 2 1/2” Roller machined for 400 lb. mono.

- Comes with either a standard Bolt-On 30 degree Gimble Rod Holder that is adjustable every 15 degrees of rotation or a 90 degree Vertical Rod Holder is available upon request at no difference in cost. A swivel base is also an Option.
