The 1380-GH offers the Angler the option of motorizing the popular Penn, Shimano, and Fin-Nor Lever Drag Reels.
The 1380’s motor is capable of dead lifting 950 pounds and bringing in up to 2,800 feet of monofilament in less than six minutes (as opposed to an hour or more reeling manually). The aluminum mono-block housing and bracket keep the 1380-GH light—just 13 pounds.
The Elec-Tra-Mate 1380-GH features all metal construction. It’s gear box has helical gears that are sealed in lubricant for the life of the unit and is manufactured from the finest corrosion resistant materials available such as polished stainless steel and anodized aircraft aluminum. It comes with an 8 ft. Power Cord with 30 Amp Hubbell Marine Plug or Battery Ring Terminals for direct connection to a 12 Volt DC battery. It also has a 3-Position Toggle Switch with On/Off/Momentary positions.
Matched with the corresponding bracket kit, the 1380-GH motor can be mounted to any standard Shimano Tiagra 80 or 130 Reel and Penn
International 80T, 80TW, 80STW, 80VSW, 130 ST, and 130 VSX reels in minutes. The drive unit also has adapters available to fit on a Fin-Nor Santiago SA80W.
