WARNING,
Hi-Liner Fishing Gear and Tackle will not be responsible for motors that have water damage. IT IS IMPORTANT TO COMPLETELY SEAL THE MOTOR. Coating the motor casting with enamel paint and or trying to seal the motor with silicone sealant, only delays moisture and condensation from entering the motor cavity. The best method, we have been told, is to apply silicone to the motor connections and using a two-part marine epoxy. Apply two or three heavy coats to the motor casing and or the gear box.
